- to comply with the practice's legal, tax and accounting obligations, including anti-money-laundering obligations (Spanish Act 10/2010).
You can object to receiving commercial communications at any time and by any means by sending an email to info@abogadosaertken.com.
The fields marked as required in the form are needed to handle your enquiry; the phone number is optional.
How long is personal data kept?

Legal basis
Your data is processed on the following legal bases:
- your request for information and/or your engagement of Sandra Aertken's services, whose terms will always be made available to you before any engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- your freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent: after reading this privacy policy you can accept it by a statement or a clear affirmative action, such as ticking the box provided (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
If you do not provide your data, or provide it incorrectly or incompletely, we will not be able to handle your request, provide the information requested or carry out an engagement.
Recipients
Data will not be disclosed to any third party outside Sandra Aertken's practice unless required by law. If an engagement requires other professionals (notaries, tax advisers, translators), only the necessary data will be shared, and only with your prior knowledge.
To provide the service, Sandra Aertken uses the following data processors, under contracts that protect the data:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting and sending of the contact form. The website is served from data centres in the European Union, and the form function runs in Frankfurt, Germany.
- STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany: email.
If you write on WhatsApp, that service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta group) under its own privacy policy.
Where data is processed
Data is processed on servers located in the European Union. Vercel Inc. is based in the USA; should any access to or transfer of data outside the European Economic Area occur, it is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses included in Vercel's data processing agreement.
Audience measurement
To understand how the website is used, Sandra Aertken uses the visitor statistics service "Vercel Web Analytics" provided by the hosting provider Vercel Inc. No cookies are set and no information is stored in your browser's storage.
The data recorded is the page visited, the referring page (referrer), the time, the approximate location (country, region, city) and the device type, operating system and browser. In addition, we count whether a contact option is clicked (phone, WhatsApp, email) and whether the contact form was sent successfully, in each case only with the language and the page, without the content of the form.
To tell visits apart, Vercel creates a hash value from the incoming request, which is automatically discarded after 24 hours. The data is only analysed in aggregated form and is not linked to you or to your IP address.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving the website and understanding how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by emailing info@abogadosaertken.com. For where data is processed, see the previous section.
Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent. Simply email info@abogadosaertken.com or write to: Pasaje Santa Catalina de Siena, 4, Entl. 1 C, 07002 Palma (Balearic Islands), Spain.
If you believe your rights have not been properly respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

The user is responsible for complying with the laws and regulations in force and the rules governing the online service, e-commerce, copyright, public order and the universal principles of internet use.
The user shall indemnify Sandra Aertken for any costs arising if Sandra Aertken is involved in proceedings for which the user is responsible, including legal fees and defence costs, even in the case of a non-final court decision.
Protection of hosted information
Sandra Aertken makes backup copies of the content stored on its servers but is not responsible for the loss or accidental deletion of data by users. Nor does it guarantee the full restoration of data deleted by users, as such data may have been deleted and/or modified since the last backup.
Except for specific backup services, the services offered do not include restoring content kept in Sandra Aertken's backups where the loss is attributable to the user; in that case a fee will be set according to the complexity and volume of the recovery, always subject to the user's prior acceptance.
